Hello. My name is Van Wilson and I have been leather working since 2019. I got into this craft when I was gifted a blank belt, a buckle and rivets as a Christmas present from my son, Erik. This ignited in me a passion for this craft, and with the onset of Covid 19, I found myself with a lot of time to devote to it. A strong background in woodworking provided me many of the skills required for this craft. It enabled me to quickly progress through the learning period, and allowed me to make a lot of the tools I would need. All my creations are dyed, stitched and stamped by hand, giving true meaning to the term ‘hand crafted’. I use only the best materials I can obtain and fully guarantee my work for fit, functionality and artistry.
